LEEDA - BERLIN 06
-- Das Projekt Leeda-Berlin 2006 ist von den Wim Wenders Filmen Himmel über Berlin und In weiter Ferne so Nah inspiriert. Die Bildform der Filme ist sehr sugestiv und sie berühren sich auch einige Themen, die sowohl für Prag, als auch für Berlin gemeinsam sind. Beide Städte erlebten Unfreiheits-gefühl hinter dem Eisenvorhang, auch ganzeuropäische Verletzung aus der Holocaustzeit und der zweiten Weltkriegeszeit. Unser Job ist die Mode und Kostümgestaltung, die zwar ins Kunstgebiet fällt, aber im Unterschied von dem Film, dem Photo oder der Musik sie beschränkte Ausdrucksmittel hat. Deshalb entschieden wir uns, in diesem Projekt mit solchen Medien zusammenzuarbeiten. Das Projekt enthält Modeschau, Fotosausstellung, Film und das Konzert der Deutschkapelle. ---
LEEDA is a project of fashion design brand Leeda inspired by Berliner stories of Wim Wenders and contemporary Berlin. Brand new chicpunk collection is presented in Zero galllery as a photography exhibition by Marek Novotný and film by Tomáš Luňák.
Collection, based on Der Himmel über Berlin, is in tone with black and white colours partly with neon shades that are used as an element of present days. Materials used have a full-area printing with elements of Berliner architecture specially designed by Olga Benešova and Mario Corradini. The photographs and film are purposefully conceived as documentaries with a simple plot. Galleryite does not know whether persons in the film are casual visitors or the Berliners, he does not even know whether they are in hotel rooms or in their homes, whether they are in their gowns or in their only clothes after they have got lost in the city.
